Tom’s second ever triathlon was the Austria 70.3 in May 2008 where he rode on his new Cervelo P2C built by Cycleworx. He has since completed a number of triathlons, Half Ironman’s, Ironmans and time trials riding his Cervelo and Felt DA.Tom started competing in triathlon in 2008 having been a rugby and cricket player most of his life. Tom completed two London Marathons raising in excess of £50,000 for charity and decided he should buy a bike and learn how to swim!
Notable performances to date is his age group win at Challenge Henley in 2012, placing second overall at the Enduroman Half Ironman in 2012, competing for Great Britain and coming fourth in his age group at the European Long Distance championships as well as a few time trial podiums over the 25 and 50 mile distance.
Parys exploded into the sport of triathlon in 2008 finishing 9th in her first Age Group World Championships while competing in only her 5th triathlon. Since then she has climbed to the very top of the amateur rankings and is a double World Champion having won at both the Olympic and 70.3 distances in the past 2 years. Added to this are European Triathlon and Duathlon Gold medals, a European Middle Distance silver medal and the British and English National titles.
